Built for the built environment.
When founder R. Scot Minesinger P.E. launched Scot Engineering Properties Inc, in Fairfax Station, VA in 1990, the goal was straightforward: deliver MEP engineering drawings that contractors could actually build from, that meet code, for energy-efficient systems that perform as designed.
That commitment to constructability and accountability has shaped every project we've taken on — from a 6,000 sq ft single family home to a 400-unit multi-family mixed-use complex. We work closely with architects, interior designers, landscape architects, civil engineers and structural engineers, to ensure MEP systems are fully coordinated from day one.
Today, our team of licensed PEs and engineers covers mechanical/HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection coordination, energy compliance, and full-scope construction & permit documents — across the east coast and beyond.
